NED Alumni Canada is a professionally run organization that pays special attention to having relevant officials on-board to perform various duties. NED Alumni Canada has ten main committees that manage the affairs of the Association and facilitates the provision of various services and programs to members.
Responsible for maintaining books of account, assigning membership numbers to new members on receipt of their membership applications.
Responsible for arranging social activities, annual dinners and other events for the members with an aim to enhance engagement and collaboration among members.
Responsible for maintaining complete record of members, maintaining the official website, issuing press releases and liaising media and publications.
Responsible for publication of newsletters, souvenirs and program booklets for events, programs and other activities.
Responsible for coordinating with the University and other NED Alumni associations outside Canada.
Responsible for enhancing members' skills through seminars and workshops, also helps members obtain professional designations.
Responsible for running mentorship programs for members, help them improve their resume, interviewing skills and assist in job search.
Responsible for coordinating with the University to select eligible students for scholarships on need cum merit basis.
Responsible for fundraising and working with sponsors to support our programs, including scholarship.
Responsible for keeping the bylaws current based on the evolving environment and applicable laws.
