Celebrating a century old tradition

NED Alumni Canada celebrated NEDUET’s 100th anniversary at its 14th annual dinner on Dec 5, 2022 in Mississauga, Ontario. The event coincided with the 15th anniversary of NED Alumni Canada. The President of NEDAC, Ms. Nazli Khan welcomed the guests including the guest of honuor, Mr. Sohail Bashir; the keynote speaker, Mr. Aftab Rizvi; the Consul General or Pakistan in Toronto, Mr. Abdul Hameed Khan, as well as alumni and their families.
The event also featured the introduction of Mr. Aftab Rizvi’s upcoming book titled” ’Jinhain Main Nay Dekha”, written to correspond with NEDUET’s centennial celebrations. Aftab Rizvi enthralled the audience with his simple yet eloquent words. The event also included an awards ceremony to recognize the achievements of alumni in their respective fields, presented by the Consul General. The event concluded with a musical program.

NED Alumni Canada Scholarships

NED Alumni Canada continues to stand with deserving students and their families through the NED Alumni Canada Scholarships. The criteria for scholarship award is determined on need-cum-merit basis by NED University of Engineering & Technology while the funding is provided by NED Alumni Canada.

Since its inaugural year in 2017, a total of 82 scholarships have been awarded to encourage students to excel in engineering education. With your support, we aim to expand the scholarship program in the coming years.

NEDUET Centennial Convention 2022

NED International Alumni Network (NEDIAN) Association organized the 2022 Centennial Alumni Convention as the prestigious alma matter turned 100 years old. Following the benchmark set in 2019 Convention, this convention hosted 6000+ alumni from Pakistan and around the world.

NEDAC Board of Directors

The NEDAC Board of Directors is the driving force behind the initiatives to help members connect and grow. They provide strategic leadership and act as the primary liaison with NEDUET. New board members are elected at the end of every term through a voting process prescribed in the bylaws.
